The goals of the Workshop are to:

• provide opportunities for industry, government and university personnel to discuss divergent views and needs for dry separation processing;
• offer insight into future dry separation technologies and discuss relevant findings and applications.

Areas of Panel Discussion:

• recent industrial, university and governmental research about materials-dependent; and process-dependent factors that influence the separability of fine-particulate using dry processing technologies,
• issues related to processing parameters to mix known quantities of fine particulate,
• environmental regulations controlling the disposition of process byproducts,
• profit margins affected by costly separation processing,
• new business potential with fine particulate if it could be purified efficiently.

This Workshop has been invited to meet in conjunction with the Symposium. It offers the only forum in the US which is dedicated to assessing the progress and needs in dry separation technologies.
