Submission of a paper for the Proceedings Volume by August 2 ^nd (1999) is mandatory for both oral and poster presentations.

It must be accompanied by:

• registration form and payment for the presenting author
• speaker information sheet (for oral presentations only).

Any paper received after August 2, 1999 will NOT be included in the Proceedings Volume.

Paper Requirements:

• Adobe Acrobat Submission is preferred.
• Acrobat .pdf  without security password
• If Acrobat .pdf  is not an option, Word or WordPerfect can be used.
• If an electronic version is not possible, you may submit a paper copy.
• Document Information - General (in Acrobat)
• Please fill in title, author, and keyword fields, if you like (we will do this for you if you leave them blank). We will use the subject field for the name of the session.

• Formatting instructions
• 8.5" x 11" for page size
• Margins - all margins on all pages 1 inch
• Font - Times New Roman
• No page numbers
• Justification - left justified (flush left)

    no right or full justification, please

• Title - 20 point bold
• Authors - 14 point bold
• primary author first
• other authors
• underline presenting author
• use superscript numbers to identify organization/address
• Organizations - 12 points
• appropriate superscript number followed by name/address of organization
• Keywords - 12 points
• Body (text of paper) - 12 points
• if sending electronic version of a chart/graph from a spreadsheet
  a. please make sure "medium" is selected for the lines of the outside border instead of "fine"
  b. please use colors instead of textures/patterns for delineation (as within bars or columns)

• 6 pages or less preferred
• a charge of U.S. $25.00/page will be incurred for any pages over 8
• Bibliography/References - 12 point
