1999 International Ash Utilization Symposium

October 18-20, 1999
Lexington Center's Heritage Hall / Hyatt Regency Lexington
Lexington, Kentucky, USA

The 1999 International Ash Utilization Symposium is organized by the Center for Applied Energy Research at the University of Kentucky, the journal Fuel, and the U. S. Department of Energy. It is implemented and managed by the staff of the University of Kentucky's Center for Applied Energy Research.

It will cover all aspects of coal combustion by-product utilization. The anticipated attendance of 320 registrants is expected to include worldwide representation from academia, industry, and government. As such, it will provide a forum for the transfer of information and new ideas to benefit the innovative utilization, handling, storage and disposal of CCBs.

This symposium is intended to complement the efforts of other organizations with similar interests, such as the American Coal Ash Association.
