GENERAL ATTENDEE INFORMATION
2001 International Ash Utilization Symposium
October 22-24, 2001
Hyatt Regency Lexington
Lexington, Kentucky, USA
Anticipated:
- 300 attendees from worldwide locations
- 89 oral presentations and 20 posters from academia, industry and government
- 20 exhibits
Location of presentations, etc. (all within the Hyatt Regency):
- The oral presentations, including the Keynote presentations,
will be in the Regency Ballroom on the lobby level of the Hyatt Regency.
- The poster presentations will be in the Patterson Ballroom
on the ground level of the Hyatt Regency.
- The exhibits will be in the Patterson Ballroom on the ground
level of the Hyatt Regency.
- Registration, continental breakfasts, and coffee breaks will
be in the Patterson Ballroom on the ground level of the Hyatt Regency.
Coffee breaks will be 1/2 hour to allow attendees at the oral sessions
time to go to Patterson Ballroom for coffee breaks.
- There will be no luncheon.
Receptions:
- Monday evening, Oct. 22, 7:00-10:00, Reception in the Regency Ballroom
of the Hyatt Regency
- Tuesday evening, Oct. 23, 6:00-10:00, Old Kentucky Night at the Kentucky
Horse Park (transportation provided)
Miscellaneous Information:
- Posters and exhibits are open to viewing during breakfasts and coffee
breaks, but closed during the receptions.
- The language of the Symposium is English. Translation service is not
available.
- All times are Eastern Daylight Savings Time.
- There will be both a book version and a CD-ROM version of the Proceedings
Volume.
- They will not be available until approximately 6 weeks after the
Symposium.
- Each attendee will select on the registration form one version
which he/she would like to receive. It will be shipped to the address
on the registration form.
- If the CD-ROM version is chosen, no additional fee is incurred.
- If the book version is chosen, there will be 2 added charges:
- US$27.00 to help defray the printing cost
- Shipping charges of
- US$10.00 for UPS ground within the United States
- US$60.00 for UPS International Express outside the United
States
- An abstract booklet will be given to each attendee at the Symposium.
- Photocopies of individual papers can be purchased at the Symposium.
They will cost US$5.00/paper.
